First, to have a web site, you must have a dedicated hosting service, which we provide for the very reasonable price of $9.97 per month. Our hosting service provides you with 200MBs of space to put your pages on. This is a very large amount of space, which you will store your pages. You can also store the pictures that you want your site to display. We do not offer SMTP access for sending email. The basic set-up fee is $27.97.
The second choice you must make is whether you want your website to have the address of http://www.Computer-Essence.com/~yourname OR have your own personal DOT COM name, like:
http://www.yourname.com To have your personal web address you will need two additional things. The name must still be available, and if so, you must purchase the name for $25 per year. You will also need a Domain Name Server set up to broadcast your site address, so that it is known through out the world, where your site can be found. The one time set up fee is $27.97. The Domain Name Server costs $2 per month.
If you are not familiar with designing and loading web pages, you will need a webmaster to design and maintain your site, along with a page designer to make your pages as attractive as possible. We provide the designing and loading of your pages at the rate of $99.97 per page (first five pages). A basic page is less than 100 words, three pre-made images, and up to five hyper-links. You must have the page laid out, so that the words are typed, double spaced, and spell checked prior to our starting to create your page. If you need more, our rates begin at $75 per hour.
